Some of them who has residence or employment visa stays back in UAE beyond the visa expiry without cancelling it. Overstaying in UAE can cause serious consequences.     OVERSTAY FINE FOR VISIT/ TOURIST VISA

    If a tourist or a visitor overstays, he will be fined with a certain fee to be paid at the immigration offices or at the airport when exiting. If you get a job while you are on visit visa, you must change your visa status from visit visa to employment visa. In case if you overstay more than the date mentioned on the visa, the fine for the first day would be Dh200, and then a further Dh100 for each subsequent day.

    VISA RULES FOR RESIDENCE AND EMPLOYMENT VISA HOLDERS

    As per the Immigration Department in UAE, residence who are going to cancel their employment visas will have to leave UAE within 30 days. In case overstay on employment visa in UAE, you will be subjected to fine .Keep in mind that it will not only a fine, but also a criminal case.

    Fine amount on residence and employment visa in UAE is 125 AED for the first and 25 AED from the second day.

    CONSEQUENCES OF OVERSTAY IN UAE

    •        Your name will be entered to blacklisted persons list
    •        You may face immigration Ban.
    •        You may have to stay in Jail.
    •        You may be issued a deportation order by Authorities.
